Computer programming for the Complete Idiot

YEAR: 1979
ITEM: Book
COMPANY: Design Enterprises of San Francisco
COUNTRY: USA
IN OUR COLLECTION: Yes

Pre-dating the popular "Idiot's Guide to.." series, this 126 page, oversize, softcover book presented a very simple step-by-step guide to programming in basic. I've not seen a clearer and more comprehensive beginner's guide to programming.

The cover shows a genie looking over a TRS-80 computer with a keyboard and a cassette recorder for data storage.
