Meccano Magazine was part of Meccano Ltd. in England. The tag line for the magazine was "The model World at your Fingertips".
Meccano was founded 1898 and aimed their products at kids (and adults) who liked to make all sorts of models. Their original products were similar to the Erector sets sold in the USA (Meccano bought the Erector company in 2000).
In the April 1967 issue of their magazine, just after the article on how to build a realistic model of a WWI airfield, the editors published, The Meccano Mag Computer...a computer that their readers could build themselves. It was the first of a four part series on how to accomplish this task. The introduction to the series stated,
Hopefully, we will be able to track down all for issues for the musuem.
