Aardvark Software Catalog

This software catalog (really just 11 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 paper with typewritten information and three drawings) listed the software (games and utilities) sold by Aardvark for the computers made by Ohio Scientific Instruments (OSI).

The 22-page catalog had a real home made look to it and the programs it sold were on cassette tapes which were still common at the time. The company also offered their programs on disks but charged extra for that. As they put it...

*** ALL AARDVARK PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE ON DISK ***
Yep, there is a catch. Disks cost more to make and take more labor. Particularly if it is to be a custom disk. If a program is not listed as "on disk" there will be a surcharge of $2,00 for the disk and a $.50labor charge for each program you want on it.

The original owner of this catalog noted the programs that he or she ordered in March of 1981. They included games such as Time Trek (a Star Trek like game) for $9.95, Robotank for $5.95 ($6.95 if you wanted "color and sound") and utilities like Mini-Pros (a mini-word processing program) for $26.95.
