Xerox Viewpoint Manual

This smaller 3-ring binder (8 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" wide pages) is entitled Xerox ViewPoint: Workstation Peripherals for 6085/8010. The title page states that it is from the VP Series Reference Library, Version 2.0. (VP would stand for ViewPoint.) As the title suggests, this document addresses peripherals for the computer...in this case, printers and a tape cartridge storage unit. It consists of 6 tabs (chapters) with 5 of the tabs addressing the setup for printers: Local Character Printing P1, P-12 Local Draft Printer, P-32 Local Draft Printer, Local Character Printing 630, Local Laser Printing. The sixth and largest chapter deals with Cartridge Tapes. The cartridge tapes was used to back up important data. It is interesting to see the line, Large capacity--47.5 megabytes per tape. That would not even qualify for small 30 years later.
