The First Book of Personal Computing

The First Book of Personal Computing was meant as a starting point for building your house of knowledge on computers. It offers basic piece of information in each chapter, introducing specific topics about computers. The writers wanted to show the reader through each chapter how the computer can make your life easier by giving a basic understanding of computer operations.

The authors attempt to take the reader on a tour of the computer world, showing you all the programs and features that help you perform your work. It also reveals what was available in the market at the time and how to make the most out of what you have bought. This book also does a good job of explaining how to fix some of the pitfalls beginners would typically run into along with what to look out for when shopping for computer equipment.
