The Tabulator

This magazine subtitled, A Journal Devoted To HOLLERITH Punched Card Accounting is not exciting reading. We have scanned in the entire 27 page publication so you can see for yourself...just don't read it while operating heavy machinery. [Link is below.] There actually is no date in the magazine but it is issue #77 which, by using other sources, can be dated to the May/June 1952 issue.

Keep in mind that the the publication date was 1952. India only became independent from Great Britain in 1947 and the country was only formed in 1950.

The Hollerith (IBM) Limited company had just been formed as a subsidiary of the The British Tabulating Machine Company Limited (BTM). In fact the entire back cover lists all the BTM offices and the magazine was printed in Great Britain, not Bombay.
