This book by the Humanist Chaplain at both Harvard University and MIT addressed the relationship between us and our technology. The book is sub-titled, "How Technology Became the World's Most Powerful Religion, and Why It Desperately Needs a Reformation". I am reminded of one of Marshal McLuhan's ideas (paraphrasing), We create our tools and, in turn, they create us.
